Some more slow days this past week or so but wanted to post some quick comments on a few things since I haven't made a post in a while it seems.
- Heroes is starting to pick up again. Although Monday's episode was pretty predictable, I found it to be fun again which is an improvement from some of the earlier episodes. Hopefully they can keep up that pacing.
- Fringe is back! yay! Although I'm mad at American Idol for running over by like 10 minutes. What's the deal with that? You have a time slot. Stick to it. I don't tune in for a reason.
- I've been watching a bunch of Naruto recently. Although I'm not the core demographic and it's old news by now since I'm starting from the beginning, I'm having fun watching it. I definitely stated watching at the worst possible part of the entire series which helps explain my initial dislike for it. I'm still a little embarrassed about it though.
- I watched Seven Pounds. Pretty good movie. A good story although pretty predictable. Not nearly as good as Will Smith's other movies, but still good
- I am glad I don't have Time Warner. There are rumors that they may soon start charging based on usage plan and $1 for each extra gigabyte, effectively raising charges for customers. Cablevision is a pretty big company so it seems it may be only a matter of time before they try something similar. (Frankly I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet) I wonder if FIOS would be a viable option. If so, I think I may have to go that route.
So this weekend I'll be heading home for Easter to see the family. Can't hurt for more good food.
